Hey there everyone, this will probably be a veery unpopular opinion but whatever… So basically I just haaateee ai from the bottom of my heart, but at the same time I kind of need it to keep up… Im going to university this year and although I want to make notes, research and study by myself, Im pretty lazy and the amount of material will be impossible to do without ai as teachers already calculate that students will use it anyway, why not dump more stuff on them, the ai will figure it out right? Thus forcing people to use it even when they dont want to. And even if they dont, ai is useful for making notes and I cant deny that, its useful at a bunch of stuff related to studying and uni and Im trying sooo hard not to just ask perplexity to do it for me… Besides that, is it just me or are people getting stupider and stupider by relying on chatbots for everything? Like somebody asks a question and instead of searching for it on google or other search engines they just ask fkin chatgpt just for it to hallucinate something stupid and when I tell them its not true they shove their fkin phones in my face " BUTTT loooook, chatgpt said its trueee, I told him no mistakeesss". This sounds pretty boomer I know, when the internet came they said the same thing, but at least you needed some logic and will to search for stuff and find reputable sources but nowaday, thinking about anything is at a premium. Thanks for reading my rant… I had to vent this… submitted by /u/Sp4rt4n
