If you invited a woman out to dinner, and she offered to split the bill on a first date, would you usually accept that if you were planning to see her again and potentially invite her out in the future? Do women commonly ask to split when you’re the one initiating the date, or is it more typical for the person who does the inviting to cover it? In general, when you invite someone out to dinner, who is usually expected to pay? Also, when you’re planning a dinner date, do you typically make it clear upfront that you’re paying (for example by saying “dinner’s on me”), or is it usually understood without saying anything? submitted by /u/lowtideangel
