was helping update some old guides and kept running into “in today’s fast-paced environment” over and over. deployment docs. onboarding docs. project retros. somehow even a troubleshooting guide had it. ended up searching the whole docs repo because i thought i was losing it. found 43 matches. nobody on our team talks like this. half the company would probably get roasted in slack for saying “fast-paced environment” with a straight face. pretty sure years of running text through chatgpt, grammarly, random rewrite tools, whatever, just slowly merged everything into the same weird corporate dialect. been using writeless ai on some of the uglier pages lately because it seems less obsessed with turning every sentence into management consulting jargon. submitted by /u/Stunning-Ad-1484
