Just as a counterpoint to everyone shitting on 4.8 and saying “they’re going back to 4.7”. I dont know. To me 4.8 feels like a better version of 4.6. 4.7 was the first Claude model that clearly felt like a regression / not a direct improvement as someone who’s used Claude models since 3.0. Still mainly migrated to it and got it to work better over time as I adapted to how it works, but I never really liked it all that much. 4.8 feels pleasant to work with, well-aligned and ultracode makes it very capable. submitted by /u/PhilosophyforOne
