I’m currently 22 and still living with my parents while finishing my apprenticeship. Lately I’ve been realizing that a lot of my emotional energy goes into relationships, friendships and thinking about other people. At the same time I keep wondering if what I actually need isn’t a girlfriend but my own space. A place where I can:

  • train
  • cook
  • invite people over
  • have privacy
  • make my own decisions The reason I’m asking is because I always imagined that relationships would solve a lot of the things I’m struggling with. But recently I’ve started wondering if moving out would actually have a much bigger impact on my happiness than dating ever could.
