Following situation has happened to me several times: I will chat with a guy during a night out when his friends will start to chime in with suggestive remarks and jokes. Stuff like “ Ohhh when can we pick him up from your place tomorrow” or “ We can hear the wedding bells ringing”, one time I was even asked directly if I think their friend is cute while the guy in question is standing across from me. I really really dislike this and it makes me very uncomfortable, so I would like to know what the purpose of this is, if this is normal or maybe something like a hazing ritual?
