I set my default model to Opus 4.6 [1m context] + high effort It is perfect and I love working with it, I had a personal bad experience with 4.7 and 4.8 xhigh effort, too verbose and Opus 4.6 just feels like it has a better higher level understanding of my codebase than the newer ones Please don’t deprecate this model, Opus 4.6 is all I need for my work Please and thank you Anthropic 🙏 PS: If you want to switch to opus 4.6 use this command: /model claude-opus-4-6[1m] then use: /model and use left and right arrow keys to adjust thinking effort submitted by /u/TikkiTappa
