Please give me some advice- I’m looking to eventually approach my ex-boyfriend about getting back together. He ended things a few months ago because of us having a history of being on and off- he didn’t think he could endure another breakup. It was my first relationship and I had no idea what I was doing or what was normal. He also made mistakes, but I love him beyond words and would do anything to be with him again. Since then I’ve been in therapy, read a bunch of books about being a better partner, and learned so much about why I was making the mistakes I was and how to correct that behavior. What advice would you give me? What approach would you be the most open to if someone you dumped reached out? submitted by /u/velvetstrawberryy
