So I’ve had several women over the past 12 months all try to slide back into my life. I’m 42, regular guy, nothing special to look at, I just love hard know and know how to treat women really good. If it helps, I have a great career, have my shit together and I’m very well to do. The well to do part is old money, not obviously noticeable like these Instagram new money dickheads. I don’t show off and don’t flaunt anything so it can’t be used as an argument for the purposes of my current situation. And if it matters all these women besides one found out about my wealth months into dating, not prior. I’m cautious like that. I’ve had about 8 women circle back into my life wanting to rekindle things and light the spark again into dating and proper relationship. I’ve also had 3 different that I never hooked up with that I was put in the friend zone by and were very polite of never having shot with them so I let it go. The thing is none of these women wanted to commit to me like 3 to 6 years ago. They all were sleeping around too but I was very intentional. I told each one to give me a shot and let me be their husband. I was always turned down gently. No drama. They even all slept with me but I was just the guy that was too nice. Fast forward to today, Now I have a bunch of older women in thier early 40’s acting like I either owe them a relationship or somehow we deserve to be together because we have pre-existing chemistry. I can feel the pressure from them with the snide comments and jokes they make about the better not see me with anybody else. If a dude made those kind of jokes the reception would not be the same. The issue is since I’ve seen everyone around me get divorced, become a single parent or and end up in depression from being heart broken….I now have zero interest in a genuine relationship. I have access to younger fun women who just want to casually date and travel the world with zero stress. I don’t think love is for everyone. Are any other men experiencing this? Women you know wanting something real now after dismissing you off for years? As if they’re on some type of clock?
