I play mostly on my phone so I can get xp while doing other things. For me, it’s about getting decent xp while not having to pay much attention to my phone so I can do this while watching TV, working on my computer, etc while once in a while checking my phone. When I got to level 35, I started cutting willows in Draynor, just south of the bank in world 444 for forestry events. Doing Forestry events on the phone is hard, but over time I was able to get enough anima bark to get the log basket which allows you to hold 28 more logs with each run and this definitely is a game changer so even though it’s a pain to do the forestry events, get this. I also did Temple Trekking mini-game to get the whole lumberjack outfit which was much faster than getting more anima bark to get the outfit from the forester. I always chose Dalcian Fang to escort (he’s the easiest and the difficulty does not effect your chances of getting this outfit) and choose the easiest path. It will randomly stop you at different places each time you do it to fight monsters so you need decent combat stats. The event you want is where you have to fix a bridge. Don’t fix the bridge and wait and zombie lumberjacks will attack you. Keep killing them until one of them drops an article of the lumberjack outfit. You may have to kill several waves of zombies to get the item. Pick it up then fix the bridge. Make sure you keep waiting and killing them until you get one piece of the outfit. Apparently, it is the bridge WITHOUT trees though I never saw the one with trees. I had to run through this about 10-12 times to get the whole outfit and I did this part on my computer. The lumberjack outfit gives you 2.5% bonus xp. Doesn’t sound like a lot but if you’re grinding to 99, it’s worth it. When cutting willows, I ended up burning them on a forester’s campfire when I had a full load. One click and my whole inventory would be slowly burned giving me firemaking xp and less clicking to go to the bank or drop logs. Once again, trying for minimal interaction with my phone. Once I got to level 68 I went to the woodcutting guild to cut yews. You get the +7 level boost and there’s a bank deposit box right next to the yews so you don’t have to put in your pin code. I know you can go earlier but that’s when I went. I lock the inventory space where my log basket is located so I can dump my inventory with one tap then I “empty log basket” into the bank. 55 yew logs per cycle deposited. Then I just tap a yew tree and do other things, not even looking at my phone. After several minutes, I’ll look over and tap another yew. My goal is not maximum efficiency but to get some surprisingly decent xp while doing other things. I’m now wc level 83 and will do this until 90 then will do redwoods until 99. Hope this helps!
