Hey fellas. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I wanted to get some insight from y’all. So there’s this diner near where I live. I’ve been frequenting it a lot lately, both with friends and alone. Every time I get the same waitress. I’m always there before my friends so not long ago the waitress and I started chatting about random stuff because my friends weren’t present, nothing ended up happening other than learning each other’s names and basic stories. Every time I visit, I ask her what I should get, and then I usually end up liking it. I don’t tip an egregious amount so her kindness isn’t to get a huge tip from me. Fast forward a couple visits later, I’m dining in by myself. And as usual I ask for her recommendation for what I should order. Upon going to pay I tell her, “I’ll see ya next time!” And she said “yes, and it better not be too long from now”… am I tripping or is that a very subtle sign? Thinking back there’s been a couple other signs such as sitting down across from me to take my order or even telling me her days off and schedule? Haha am I overthinking it or should I act on it?
