Over the past 3 months I coded my first app. I’m on the pro plan. I would go a couple hours making tremendous progress. As I learned I started understanding how to efficiently manage my prompts to reduce token use. I had a few bugs and started using both codex and CC, qa’ing each other. Got the app done. Now starting another app, Claude, even using sonnet 4.6 will burn 20% of my session asking a simple non code related question. Meanwhile I have codex on the side churning away on 5.5 high. Claude has become a useless hog. What’s changed. I’m not even using Opus 4.x and still. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue. submitted by /u/SD_native17
