I canceled my €200 subscription because I’m fed up. Claude is really messing things up; he’s always trying to cut corners, he always recommends the sloppiest solution, and because he’s too lazy, he really acts like a French bureaucrat. He’s always asking me if I want to put off the tasks until tomorrow. I’ve tried everything—I’ve cleared the memory, cleared the cache, configured my repo’s tooling, set up the linters, created a CLAUDE.md file and rules, and I even built a skill so he’d understand my business rules. I find Codex much more effective right now. I mainly do backend development. submitted by /u/Besmaah
