I don’t know if it’s adulthood, burnout, or just life doing its thing, but some days I wake up and everything feels slightly heavier than usual. Not in a dramatic way, just in that “I wish life had a pause button so I could step off for a second and breathe” kind of way. Like I’ll be staring at my to‑do list thinking, “Yep, definitely not doing all that today,” even though I know I probably should. Then I’ll make myself coffee and suddenly feel a tiny bit normal again. Does anyone else get that? Not sad. Not overwhelmed. Just a low battery for no specific reason.
