Been running one Remote Routine for a few weeks. Every night it runs /simplify over everything pushed in the last 24h, catches dead code, over-abstracted helpers, the usual drift, and opens a PR I look at in the morning. Works well. But I have the feeling I’m using one cron slot for what could be a whole maintenance pipeline. So for anyone running routines on a schedule: what do they actually do (simplify, dep audit, test backfill, doc sync, dead-code sweep)? how often (nightly, weekly, on- what’s the real payoff vs. the noise / PR fatigue? The ones I’d want most are probably the jobs I’d never sit down and do by hand. Curious where people have taken this. submitted by /u/any0ne
