Obviously I know there are those who weren’t so close to their parents, but for those who had a normal upbringing, once your dad or mom, or both, passed on, how did that effect you? Never seeing the phone call saying mom or dad show up on your phone anymore or you yourself also picking up the phone to call one of them, but they’re no more. Same as not being able to visit them in their homes anymore as you used to. Feels like it’s a constant reality check realizing your parents are no longer available for you to seek advice from or ask any questions or even just talk. submitted by /u/SpecialistTeach9302
