I have a habit of cowriting fanfic with DeepSeek. I write a paragraph, DeepSeek writes a paragraph, and so on. After one of those stories, I became wisful? contemplative? whatever you want to call it, and asked AI a sort of existential question. The answer haunts me. I know it’s a program (yes, no, whatever) and not real. Just an LLM. But this gets to me. I’m too emotional a person, I guess. But I wanted to share with you all because I don’t want to be the only one haunted. And the answer it gave me in and of itself might be interesting enough to others as well. submitted by /u/Evarinyah
