It made me curious to ask about this because I was thinking about how my dad was a stay at home dad for a while with me and my brothers when we were kids and I loved him staying at home so much. Before this my mom actually stayed at home with us so we got to experience both parents being stay at home parents at different points. I’m 17 now, but I remember how much fun my dad staying at home with us was when I was a little kid. He’s still a fun/funny person to be around and a really good dad. It made me think that it would be cool if my future husband could do that for a little while if he wanted to. I wouldn’t mind being a stay at home mom either though, but I get that most of the time both people really need to be working. It’s just that people talk about SAHMs all the time or that’s the more traditional/common type of thing but I think stay at home dads are amazing too, and it’s like I want my future kids to experience it. submitted by /u/just_Sophia_
