I find stretching exercises extremely boring…you’re just standing in a fixed position mentally counting “1, 2, 3, … 15”…how do you make stretching just not insanely boring? Jogging outside is fun, I see things, cars, animals, snakes, my neighbors chickens got out and they’re eating bugs in the front yard, that yellow dog that always smiles at me, someone new moving into the neighborhood…stuff’s happening that keeps my brain occupied. I keep getting myself into trouble because I’m jogging several times a week, skip the stretching, and then last night woke up with my feet cramping and as I type this my right calf is on fire. I need to stretch more, but it’s just so boring it’s hard mentally to want to basically spend five minutes doing nothing. Any advice? submitted by /u/AdjacentPrepper
