I am 38 yo developing some urination issues, urinologist needs to stick a camera up my pee hole and into the bladder. He‘s offered me 2 options, one will be free with a local anaesthetic only, or the other would be $1000(AUD) with a light general anaesthetic that knocks me out. He said the awake version can vary from very mild discomfort to very uncomfortable depending on the person.
