Hey all, I am 26M and I haven’t dated anyone since six years, because I completely gave up on dating. I haven’t flirted with women and I didn’t even find attractive any of the women I met in the last six years. I think it could be because I was highly concentrated on my goals and I just don’t understand why I should give so much of my time to dating. In my generation dating is little bit different as most of the people meet with each other in dating apps and I don’t get any matches. I also don’t understand why I should be one of those thirty men in her DMs 😅 I think these were the reasons why I completely gave up on dating. I can say that I am generally happy and content with my life. I have recently finished my master, I have a nice job and I have my own apartment. I have my own dog and I have financial independence. There is so much to be thankful for in my life when I consider that my family was used to be poor. However, after the last valentines day my parents started to ask me why I don’t date anymore and I don’t know how to answer their questions 😅 My question to the men who gave up on dating, are you happy and content with your life right now or do you regret it? submitted by /u/serious_evidence123
