I’m on the max plan and received a double charge to my credit card from Anthropic (an extra $100). It doesn’t appear on the list of invoices in the billing section within my account, nor did I get an email about it. What I do have is a record of the charge on my credit card. I went through the help chat with their “Fin” ai, which guided me to check my account and email for a record of the charge, which I had already done. When I confirmed that it did not solve my problem, it asked me if I wanted to talk with a human, and I agreed I did. It gave me a reference # for the chat, and said I should expect an email. That was several hours ago, and since then I’ve done a bit of searching and learned that nobody gets in touch with a human that way (that any email follow up, which might come within weeks, will be from an AI). I’m required by my employer to supply receipts for this stuff, so it’s not just about getting overcharged. Anyone have any suggestions? submitted by /u/tastybugs
