Hi, Im working at a startup coding a very large project. I am doing a lot of full stack dev work, using Claude Code and Design. I rotate 2 Pro plans, a 20X Max plan, and a team plus plan and a Codex Plus plan. I am still constantly running out of tokens, and I think this is ridiculous. I am probably doing something wrong. I mostly code in TS, JS, Python, C++, rotating between Sonnet and Opus. I usually use high to max level effort. I feel like im wasting money and doing something wrong, because with all these plans, I keep hitting weekly limits so have to burn cash on extra usage which is way way too expensive. Literally $20 was just deleted in the space of 2 minutes using 3 Sonnets at once doing simple tasks (re-align this UI panel, then change this font and animate that background UI element). There is a large GitHub repo, and it does some of the Azure stuff too, I also use Claude Design pretty heavily. I have no idea where all these tokens are going, especially because I dont feel like ive increased my usage much since I added the 20X plan, except doing more frontend stuff as my project progresses. Please lmk if someone has good tips on saving tokens, and when to use which effort mode. submitted by /u/Far_Explorer_7160
