Straight woman here and I’ve known a lot of “avoidant” men or even men who say they do not like talking about their feelings or don’t know how. Curious how men see emotional expression and actually being “in touch” with their feelings. I know a common conception is that men aren’t usually taught or encouraged to express feelings as much as women are, leading to what I think is a misconception that men are not as emotional.
