I had a friend and she had DID, but for years I never saw anything unusual. Then one time when she was pregnant, she changed personalities and she started saying things that weren’t true. She thought her baby was the result of being raped by a relative who hadn’t lived near her for years. She was married and it was her husband’s child. She said her baby was evil and that it would bring evil to the world. She was a completely different person and I was trying to talk rationally with her, telling her these things weren’t true. I know it’s a mental disorder from being raised with horrific abuse and I don’t judge her for it, but I couldn’t help being really creeped out and genuinely scared in the moment. submitted by /u/atyl1144
