So i love Claude… Its really good at what it does. One other thing its good at is eating up my paid tokens in the background without any notification. This has cost me a total of ~$200 in the last month and half. There is a bug somewhere along the way where all their ui show you still have context left in a session but you don’t. Meanwhile you see all your interfaces, Web, App, CLI saying you only used 45% context but its eating away at your paid tokens. I have clear documentation of their system doing this and filed a bug as well as tried to contact support ---- That is the issue. The only support at the non-enterprise levels is the chat bot… So i did that. It “filed” a support ticket and locked the chat. So now even that option is no longer available. Im also sure i will get a response that in their terms of use they are not responsible, and no refunds will be issued. I don’t mind paying for extra context, but some of the jobs i run its not wanted or needed, so i stop them before my plan context is up. So be warned… Claude may be chunking through your paid tokens and letting you know. submitted by /u/Outside-Evidence5479
