I’ve been using the CLI tool on a medium-sized project. It works great for quick edits, but when I ask it to debug a failing test, it often tries a fix, runs the test runner, sees the same error, and then tries the exact same edit again. It’ll do this four or five times until the session gets huge and consumes a ton of tokens. I’ve tried adding instructions in my prompt to tell it to stop and ask if a fix fails twice, but it seems to ignore that once it’s in the loop. Are there configuration settings or system prompt overrides that actually work for this, or do you just kill the session the moment it starts repeating itself? submitted by /u/HarrisonAIx
