I know that it can be useful to just export sessions fully with a single easy command, but I don’t really see a point in it if the main actual use-case for it is just to export a chat session after reaching the usage limit to hand it over to a different AI like Codex. And I don’t know why it even is that way even though it’s just a simple, local command that only has to export the existing chat history fully. I don’t see how this would benefit Anthropic either - allowing people to use /export would actually make users happier. Now the only way to get this functionality is to use third party tools manually which is super annoying. However, another reason I’m making this post is because I think that it might also be a bug / design issue where Anthropic forgot to exempt some commands from the usage limits. submitted by /u/Ok-Affect-7503
