Realise my chances of this achieving anything are extremely low but as they say you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take and I just want my blatantly not inappropriate nor offensive display name back. tl;dr - my rsn “gmsm” got force removed last night for being inappropriate or offensive after having it for ~2 years despite it literally being an acronym for “good morning so much”. (feel free to check urban dictionary). My display name of like 2+ years was randomly force removed last night due to being “inappropriate or offensive”. Now like me I’m sure you’ve seen hundreds of abhorrent names including literal slurs running around the game on a daily basis for years now, hell my friends and I have a designated channel in a discord server where we collate the most egregious ones. So I can’t understate the shock and disbelief I had last night when I got force logged out and upon logging back in was greeted by the “your character name is no longer available for use” So whats this deeply inappropriate name you ask, “gmsm” a name that I’ve had for over 2 years, a phrase used daily among my clan mates across both games for its simple meaning of “good morning so much” inspired by Zied from 90 day fiance. (before you flame me I’ve never watched the show I just was told the lore) Hoping that someone that isn’t an automated system over in Cambridge can see this and potentially look into it further and maybe reinstate the display name cos this kinda stinks and support is non existent through the website.
