I (M21) am sincerely curious about how this happens. I have gone on dates with women, but I’ve noticed that the times it has happened, they have initiated. I have never been able to initiate myself successfully. I do have to admit, though, that I rarely initiate — precisely because I always get rejected. I also have this feeling that if I approach a girl, I’m bothering her, and I hate that. I’m a very chill person and I don’t like to bother people, ruin their day, or distract them from what they’re doing. I also don’t go out of the house much. That said, where do people go to meet women? Where is it okay to approach? Romantic relationships are so common in the world, and yet they feel so foreign to me. submitted by /u/idkwtosay
