I’ve been in plenty of romantic relationships, but I’ve only had one woman that actively spent time trying to romance me in ways that I still hold dear because it was so thoughtful and loving. I loved tic tacs, and so she bought me a dozen tic tac boxes, and put custom labels she made by hand onto all of them with significant moments from our relationship, and little notes of affirmation about all the little things she loved about me and moments we had. Stuff like putting a picture of us taking a nap together on the front with a note that said “It’s enough just to fall asleep with you” on the back of the box.
