Kind of a weird situation. There’s a girl who keeps giving me what seem like pretty obvious hints, but I’ve been acting like I don’t notice them. The reason is pretty stupid: I’m broke until Monday and I don’t really have the money to ask her out or suggest doing anything right now. What makes it awkward is that we’re not close enough for me to start talking about my financial situation. Saying “I’m not ignoring you, I’m just temporarily broke” feels weird. Now I’m wondering if she’s going to think I’m avoiding her or that I’m simply not interested. Have you ever been in a situation like this? What did you do? submitted by /u/No_Strategy111
