So for background, I (27F) went on a first date last night with a guy (26M), it went really really well and then we went back to his place after. We didn’t do anything physical but we were just really enjoying each others company and didn’t want the date to end so he asked me to stay the night and I did. Again, everything went well, this morning was fine, I got up and left pretty early just because I don’t like to lay around all morning lol but he didn’t seem to have a problem with that and we discussed loosely that we both plan to continue getting to know each other. He lives about an hour away from me and I was just in his area last night visiting family (which I visit pretty often) so we didn’t necessarily plan a time to go out again but the interest was there. Anyway, we have texted a little throughout today. Not consistently and not really talking about much but I’m personally not a huge texter so that’s not bothersome or suspicious to me. We also didn’t text much before the date, mostly just logistics and planning said date. But I do feel like the conversation is fizzling out a bit today and he may or may not be big on texting himself but the connection was def better in person. It was only a first date, I don’t expect us to be exclusive right away but I do want to stay on his mind and not fade into the abyss of anyone else he may be seeing in his area. I’m curious if there’s anything a girl has said to you after a date that stood out or made you think of them afterwards? Or reminded you like oh yeah I did have a good time with her and would like to see her again. I’ve already did the basic had fun, thanks for the drinks, etc. Or should I just leave it alone and see if he picks up the convo? submitted by /u/keepitcute8933
