In an article for WIRED , journalist Luke Larsen noted that this is the first real AI PC that will compete with the MacBook Pro. Meanwhile, Microsoft plans to release the Surface Laptop Ultra, and NVIDIA will supply its chips to other partners as well, including HP, Asus, Dell, and Lenovo. The new architecture utilizes powerful graphics equivalent to the RTX 5070 level, while its price for high-end configurations will exceed $4,000. In his report, Luke Larsen emphasized: “I am shocked that I have started to believe in this vision.” The new devices ensure the secure operation of local language models and will significantly strengthen the Windows ecosystem.
