One of my favourite mechanics for bosses is the option to do them in a more difficult way for a better reward or faster kills, Makes the bosses feel really interactive without requiring a completely new ‘hard mode’. Examples:

  • Melee scythe dancing xarpus instead of blowpie camp for more dps
  • Warden skullskipping for more points
  • Yama p3 melee for more dps I do hope these keep making their way into osrs boss design submitted by /u/Known-Garden-5013
