Reddit has deployed the use of AI/LLMs at scale to analyze posts and comments. This is done in real time and is very performant compared to old hate speech/harmful content classifiers. Every comment that you write is analyzed before being visible to a post and might even result in an automatic ban from Reddit in a few seconds of posting. However, this isn’t the case for Instagram and Facebook, where there is a large amount of hate speech and calls for violence.
