So…I’ve gone the steps with vibe coding, and I’m now at the “get shit done” phase, where I more often than not use Claude and Codex together to build and test. And I’ve sampled the frustration of two agents trying to negotiate who’s in control of what. That’s why I spent some time trying to implement locking that allows simultaneous read, but not write etc etc. In case someone wants to test it out, or even make improvements, here’s the recipe. It seems to work very well with Claude, and Codex reads Claude hooks and will therefore adhere to the same ones.
