I love my girlfriend, but when it comes to making decisions, she can be incredibly frustrating. A classic example: we’re out, and she’ll say she’s hungry. I’ll ask what she wants to eat, and she’ll respond with, “You choose, I don’t care.” I’ve fallen into that trap before. Of course, every suggestion I make gets a “no.” It’s not like I’m naming places that all serve the same type of food either. I’m throwing out all kinds of different options. After dealing with that for a few months, I changed my approach. The moment she shoots down my first suggestion, I’ll tell her, “Fine, we’re either going to starve, or you can pick where we’re eating.” She hates when I do that, but at some point, if you’re the one rejecting every option, you’ve got to be the one to make the decision. submitted by /u/FFSoldier57
