I’m 32 and currently in this exact situation. I was a human services major in college and I’ve been out of the field for 3 years with no real desire to go back. Since then I’ve been doing DoorDash and the other gig apps, and I ref tennis matches. It has actually worked out surprisingly well for me as I’m doing very well financially - I know it’s not a sustainable path though. I need to find something more stable and steady with a clear path for the future. I just have no idea WTF that is.
