Why do women refrain from complimenting men? As a straight man, if it weren’t for gay men hitting on me, I’d never know that I was even remotely attractive. Women simply do not cue me in. I’ve gotten “ews” from mean girls when someone jokingly suggest they date me. But I’ve never gotten any compliments. I’m not a mean guy and I’m overly respectful. Maybe they just don’t think I’m interesting - like, I’m just a boring nice guy or whatever. But still, regarding my appearance, they’ve never complimented me. Am I alone here? I’m sure verrrry attractive guys get compliments from them but if you’re just ok then it’s up to you to initiate the flirting and risk looking like an imbecile if they don’t like you. submitted by /u/Least-Grapefruit-767
