So I have inherited a startup platform with multiple decently structured repos, backend, frontend, KYC etc. I was initially thinking the best way to work with all of it would be to have different projects in each with setups tailored to the work area/repo This is great for ensuring better hygiene on each but runs into issues with areas that intersect not having context on the other area. I then tried one project for the whole setup and quickly found it’s too easy to bloat the Claude.md with the amount of knowledge it needs to retain and ended up experiencing drift faster. So I started using cowork to coordinate CC, I’m not a fan of it attempting to code from cowork. It does worse sometimes, but if it’s handing off to the CC projects it seems to be ok. It’s also useful when handling subscriptions and setting up new services Anyone else doing this? Are there better alternatives in CC for working on large complex projects. Really interested especially to hear from those working on large live codebases that have Tech director/CTO level of responsibilities. submitted by /u/CryptoAteMyHamster
