Started using Fable 5 and I keep getting bumped to Opus 4.8 mid-task. It seems to happen on specific kinds of prompts rather than randomly — anything touching security or bio stuff and it quietly reroutes. From what I can tell this is actually intended behavior, not a bug. Fable apparently has safeguards that auto-route sensitive queries to Opus 4.8 instead of answering them itself. Makes sense given it’s a Mythos-class model with the cybersecurity capabilities they were nervous about, but it’s a little jarring when you don’t expect the handoff. Is everyone seeing this on the same categories of prompts, or does the trigger seem broader for some of you? Trying to figure out where the line actually is. submitted by /u/Previous-March-6145
