Regarding Bose, a global brand with a long-built reputation - I would like to ask fellow Swiss customers for their experience. Recently they have become unreachable from Switzerland. The dedicated site bose.ch is down. The local branch is out, no phone number or address any more. Support is only accessible via chat in a web browser, outsourced to a third company. You need to fight an AI bot to reach a contact person, English only, who are barely competent. (If this is the future of globalised customer service… Anyways, I am disappointed, they just lost a long time customer.) How to deal with such situations? just choose a local brand? Story: I have a Soundtouch soundbar, which just reached end of life support, and some features got blocked. For compensation, Bose sent an email with an offer: you can buy a new “Lifestyle Ultra” speaker, and get a second one for free. However, the chat doesn’t know about this, and there is no way to benefit from the offer. No other ways of contact. The offer expires at the end of June. Does anyone know how to benefit from this? submitted by /u/lpetho
