Has anyone ever had this issue with Claude Code? Using Sonnet, medium effort thinking via Windsurf on the Pro plan, which is usually more than enough for me. I went through something fairly simple, just parsing a list and making an API call. Checked my usage - it’s at 4%. I open another window to make a quick change to a project, and usage instantly hits 100%. Again, Sonnet, just a simple couple of sentences. It didn’t think or respond in any way, I just got a usage limit notificiation. I looked back at my original chat, and all of the “thinking” nodes were at 1300 seconds, even though they had responded within a normal time. I think every response kept “thinking” after it had responded somehow. I tried to contact Claude but the AI support thing just told me that Claude uses a lot of tokens. Very helpful guys.
