Hi everyone, Im writing this feeling completely helpless and frustrated. I recently fell for a phishing scam, and my account was hijacked (email and everything else, includying jagex account). It was a massive mistake on my part, and I take full responsibility for the security lapse. Since then, I have successfully regained control of the original email address linked to the account and I have secured it. However, the Jagex Account itself is still locked by the hijacker(pass changed, etc). I have reached out to Support, but I hit a wall of automated responses. Being told by a bot to “start a new adventure” feels so bad, after so many hours of grind, adventures and genuine memories on this account, imo it feels like a slap in the face. It feels like the system is designed to ignore the legitimate owner if the automated check doesn not align perfectly. I am not asking for a shortcut. I have the account creation details, the date and even hour when i first bonded the acc, and the data that only the real owner would have. I have the proof, and I am begging for the chance to present it to a human being, not another automated filter. If any J-Mod sees this: I am not looking for handouts. I am looking for a manual review of my ticket so I can verify my ownership and secure my account again. Please, dont let hours of effort be lost just because a bot says the criteria weren not met.
