Total time i spent on it is likely around 40 hours. Only tasks i had to do manually was to do admin tasks like copying env variables to railway, vercel and supabase. Website initally was angular with supabase. Noticed that claude code (only any ai) does better with react/nextjs so i switched it this time around and the backend now is on railway with fastAPI. I’ve noticed that claude code is pretty expensive. This was $280 CAD of api credit cost plus $140 CAD for claude 5x (should have bought 20X). Last iteration was around a month of work with 60% ish ai code during summer break. All with chatgpt pro subscription. I think the main difference now is how consistent the UI can be on the first try. UI generations is way better if you provide reference image from figma/dribble. Overall, context management is the main task to keep in mind when using claude code. Next i wanna try it on bigger open source codebases to see how it does there. Below is the link. Its 3 gens without auth for testing/showcase. Please don’t burn my ai credits. Please. https://resumematch.co/ Build this initally for personal projects on resume to land internship. 4th year canadian comp sci student in vancouver area.
