I got my Swiss passport end of April (Canton Basel-Stadt), and plan to take part in the 14th June Referendum, in Person. But I wonder about the exact process? Should I pre-fill my voting sheet with crosses before I go to the Wahllokal, or leave it blank and just take a pen? In the voting room will there be places where I can secretly cast my vote? I just want to avoid an awkward situation when I bring a blank voting sheet, and then there is no space to fill out the vote in the “Wahllokal”. Has anybody here voted here in a Referendum in Basel, and can enlighten me how it works? submitted by /u/sandala333
