I have a weird or maybe dumb question, I’m [19M] a guy in college and I’m on the younger side, I’ve been talking to this really cute girl [19F] from my class, so then at one point, I posted about her in an anonymous confession app because I wasn’t sure on what I want to do and she finds out because I kind of describe her a little too detailed, but because of that, we did eventually went on a date, but because of summer break we went back to our own homes. Last night she texted me, letting me know on things like: after the first date she realized that she’s not ready for more dates, she’s not saying there’s none in the future but she just feel that she needs time to focus on herself and be a better person, she also adds that she likes to keep in touch with me and stayed friends because she had fun talking to me this whole time, and she ends it with her telling me that she needs give herself time (Now the thing is that she also did said that it could be a few months) What do I do in this? To the men who have been in the same spot or seen it Should I wait? Should I wait but keep sending her flowers type of (I think that comes off more as annoying)? Should I just go and try to date a different girl? I like her, she’s cute, but at the same time I feel like waiting here is not a really good option since people always tell me I’m young, and in college, there’s no better time to just go out and see my chances and I’ve rarely heard about good experience when it comes to something that start with a “I need time to focus on myself” (but maybe I’m just dumb) submitted by /u/Dry_View6804
