I’ve had my lab for over a decade and he’s been my rock through so many of life’s ups and downs. The last year or two he’s really started to show his age. We used to crush big mountains every weekend and now a walk around the neighborhood is all he can muster sometimes. I don’t believe he’s in any pain and still gets excited for lots of things but he’s just growing old. It sucks. It’s sent me into a mini depression lately and all I want to do is give him the best final chapter possible.
