I originally built a Chrome extension as a bit of a joke because I felt weirdly socially anxious using ChatGPT in public, so I made it look like Google Docs so it felt less like I was “talking to AI” and more like I was just typing a document. Out of nowhere it peaked at more than 500 active users and got featured on TechRadar, which is still a bit surreal to say out loud. I listened to feedback and implemented some new features: • Added Claude support • Added Microsoft Word and Notion-style themes • Refactored the whole system to support multiple LLM interfaces cleanly The original Google Docs disguise is still completely free, but I have added a premium option because the effort to maintain it across UI updates was more than I expected. It’s definitely still a work in progress, but please feel free to check it out! It’s GPTDisguise on the Chrome Web store. submitted by /u/yuljg
